Wow! Too bad Patrick didn’t seem to be listening. I suppose it’s really too much to expect a bishop to listen to lay people, but we can always hope. I’m really going to miss you brother. I hope Sorrento is a great experience and I’ll have to make a point of heading out there some time to visit.

I should add that I’m very glad you all had each other in objecting at the ordination yesterday considering the way Patrick apparently reacted. I don’t know how well I would have coped if I’d faced that sort of vitriol in Stouffville yesterday. It certainly would have been hard for me to remain calm and polite.
