On February 16th and for the two weeks following, we will be mounting new works by Oliver Roberts in the Church space. Oliver Roberts is a Toronto Based, Atlanta born community organizer and artist who is currently a key coordinator of the Loon Gallery . His work reflects his relationships to our urban environments and the skills and resilience of the people that inhabit the fringes of this landscape. Through large scale collage of found objects, he portrays his witness of community building with folks on the margins, creating tonal portraits of friendships, pass times, pain, and survival. He will be joining us on Sunday, February 16th to deliver a homily on his work during our regular Sunday service.
