Music Mondays final two concerts

Blackwood – Peter-Anthony Togni, organ and piano, Jeff Reilly, bass clarinet perform the world premiere of Peter-Anthony Togni’s Benedicite, commissioned for Music Mondays and the Church of the Holy Trinity. In Blackwood, Togni and Reilly explore the full range of their musical experience, from modality to modernism, in a sound that that is beautiful, mysterious and totally engaging.

In our final concert, conductor Evan Mitchell returns with Canzona Chamber Players and soprano Rachel Krehm to perform Richard Strauss’ Vier Lieder, Op. 27 and the cheery and lyrical Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88, B. 163  by Antonín Dvořák. Don’t miss this one!
