Pentecost 19

Buenos dias! This week we welcome into the fold again our San Esteban community as we sing together in bilingual song and read from the Prophet Jeremiah and from the Gospel of Luke. The homily is offered by Jean-Martin Mabozi and reflects on prayer as a daily, faith-filled conversation with God that calls for persistence and commitment, even when results aren’t immediate. Through the parable of the persistent widow, it urges believers to let their prayer life inspire justice, compassion, and transformation in society. Music is played live by HT Music Director Allison Leyton-Brown, service coordinated by Rev. Pam Trondson and readers include Angelika Castillo and Kimberly Yetman-Dawson.
