Jane’s Walk 2022

A composite image showing the original Eaton Centre proposal superimposed around Old City Hall reduced to a tower and Holy Trinity completely erased..

One of Jane Jacob’s many legacies was the preservation of Old City Hall just south of us at the same time we were fighting the same development to remain where we are. Her championing of human-scale, walkable cities is part of a much larger movement to ensure cities are for people. Jane’s Walks are a great way to explore the human-scale neighbourhoods of Toronto.

You can find walks near you (or just in cool places) at https://www.janeswalkfestivalto.com/.
