Church of the Holy Trinity is Hiring!

Through Canada’s Summer Jobs program, Holy Trinity is searching for two candidates to support our work in our downtown Toronto community. We are looking for two candidates between the ages of 18-30, who have exceptional gifts in Community Outreach and Communications and Storytelling.

Community Outreach-The successful candidate will support our Open Hours program, 32 hours a week. This will include supporting our daily COVID relief program and outreach to tent encampments. We are looking for someone with diligence, warmth, a keen sense of organization and the ability to connect with others. They will be preparing and serving meals, supporting our inventory systems, supporting volunteers and providing face-to-face intervention with our community in and around Trinity Square. They will also be part of helping to design our program as it transforms to meet the emerging needs in our community in safe and effective ways.

Communications and Storytelling-The successful candidate will support our organization based in our main office, 32 hours a week. This will include supporting our daily COVID relief program and outreach to tent encampments, with a balance of supporting our social media, website and fundraising initiatives. We are looking for someone with savvy, strong writing skills, a keen sense of language and message, and the ability to tell a story. They will also be supporting our arts and culture initiatives, looking towards what is possible in cultural diffusion in a rapidly changing landscape. The successful candidate will be part of designing our program as it transforms to meet the emerging needs in our community in safe and effective ways.
