CANCELLED: Lifting Spirits Jun 21

Refugee Committee is hosting its annual book sale in support of settling the refugee families we are sponsoring this year. Proceeds from bar sales until 5pm will also go to our refugee work.

I’ll be spinning records in the main church from noon onwards and we’ll have snacks and sharing plates available from about 3pm. We hope you’ll find some time to walk the outdoor Labyrinth and reflect on the turning of the year.

Full Schedule

Noon-3pm — limited bar service (wine, beer, cider, soft drinks). It’s a beautiful space, bring your lunch or buy something from the Trinity Square Cafe.
3pm — full bar service begins in the main part of the church and so does conversation with your friendly bartender and others. I’ll be spinning vinyl new and old and we’ll have snacks and sharing plates available from then also.
4:30-7pm — full food service and ongoing music and conversation
6-7pm — Pub Choir — we’ll be singing songs with a solstice angle and also celebrating the work of indigenous songwriters. Alan Gasser will be helping lead the singing including a chance to try a little Georgian singing.
7-9pm — ongoing bar service and conversation
